Recap: Strength In Numbers

"Epaphras, who is one of you, a bondservant of Christ, greets you,
always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect
and complete in all the will of God."

Colossians 4:12 NKJV

Friday night we had a powerful worship set to open the night.

We concluded the series from the book of Colossians that we have been going through for the past three months. We were challenged to build godly relationships, stay in community and not drift away from Jesus.

As a reminder, this Friday, April 19th we will be in the MAIN SANCTUARY with the church congregation for GOOD FRIDAY service.

Monday, April 15th @ 7:30PM at the Rizkallas' House

Do you have a heart to pray? Would you consider yourself a prayer warrior? Jesus tells His disciples the significance of "coming away" from the busyness of life, and we'd do well to do the same! Join us tonight, April 15th @ 7:30PM at Mark and Noella’s place to pray for the needs of those in the ministry as well as our community and beyond. If you have a praise report you want to share, or a prayer request, please fill out a 3”x5” index card on the Welcome table so we can add it to the list!

Recap: A Devoted Prayer Life

Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you should answer each person.” Colossians 4:6

Worship was amazing Friday night!

After worship we always take a few minutes to turn around and greet those around us. It is a nice way to quickly learn the names of the people next to you.

Stacie gave us our announcements for the week! We will NOT be meeting on Friday April 5. Some of the Bridge leaders and attendees will be going on a backyard mission trip so keep them in prayer.

T taught from Colossians 4:2-6 and left us with three points:

  1. We are to commit to prayer (v2): Prayer should be a lifestyle. It should be something we do as easily as breathing.

  2. We are to consider others (v3-4): We should be praying for everyone around us. We should also be praying for the gospel to reach all people.

    3. Watch your peripherals(v5-6): Know that there are both believers and non believers watching us and watching how we react to the situations we are in.

Hope to see you on a Friday!!

Reminder: we will NOT be meeting on April 5.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE — "A Devoted Prayer Life"

"Continue earnestly in prayer,
being vigilant in it with thanksgiving."
Colossians 4:2 NKJV

One mark of the believer is a committed life to prayer. We're to be watchful, aware of our surroundings, and have a thankful heart, when we come to God. But our prayers aren't just for ourselves, we ought to consider the needs of others, even in the way that we live towards those outside of our faith. Come on out tonight at 7:30PM in the Multi-Purpose Room, as we continue in our series through the Book of Colossians. Bring your Bible, and join us for worship, fellowship, and instruction through God's Word.
