Friday night we were back in the Multi-Purpose-Room (MPR) for our meeting. The worship team was Jess R., Christine and Nichole and they sounded lovely as they warmed up.
Anthony "T" had his parents in attendance (along with his daughters).
After a beautiful time of worship, Noella went on stage and gave us all the current announcements so we could stay "in the know." Check the events page on the blog to keep up to date with what we have this month.
Friday's theme was Mission-Minded: Philippines Edition and was centered around the trip that a group from church recently took (in Nov) to the Philippines. They went to give school supplies, share at a purity conference and share the love of Jesus to the Filipino people.
T had three of Team Philippines come up to the stage: his Dad Allan, Christine (Bridge member and worship leader) and Candace (church staff member). They testified to how good God was, as He led them on the trip and sustained them through all their concerns with food, health, scheduling etc.
We were super blessed to hear their stories and be encouraged to go out on the mission field to preach the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ to those who do not know of His love and gift of eternal life for us.
After the meeting, we had a time of hanging out and eating the most delicious foods. Raul brought PORTOS! He was so thoughtful and brought a special Tres Leches cake for us that said CCSB The Bridge, but got slightly damages on the way over. It was SO, SO GOOD.
Thank you to everyone who was so generous in bringing food on Friday. Our spread was legit.
I had to snap pictures of some of the items, they were just too yummy. Lumpia!
Warm potato balls from Portos!
Warm cream cheese filled danishes from Portos!
This group of guys was sure happy with full bellies and a great message about serving our great God.
See you next week, friends!
*Reminder: We will be UPSTAIRS in the Kids Sanctuary next Friday
