Saturday we had an epic day with both a soccer morning and park afternoon! A group of guys and gals headed to the LA Galaxy Center for a rented out field. They played from 9am-10:30 and got in an early morning soccer workout.
After soccer ended, our group posted up at the park around 11am. The weather was GORGEOUS and it was a perfect day to be outside.
We brought the best picnic food: Giulianos torpedo sandwiches and different flavored oreos to test out.
T and Stacie showed us how to baby wear like a couple of pros.
Some of the peeps played ball...
While others hung out and chatted on the picnic blankets. Justin hung out with his daughter Harley.
We grubbed on some BOMB bbq chicken.
Tai and Noella showed us how to chow down.
Looks like Sal was telling a story about being strong. Ha!
A few Moms with new babies came out: Sammy/Oliver, Stacie/Tayah (and Eden), and Cinthia/Harley.
Around 2pm we wrapped up a really wonderful day at the park with good friends!
Sunday morning we attended the 10am service at Calvary Coastline.
Around noon, once service was done, we hung around to help them organize their storage bin and classroom supplies.
It was a VERY hot day, but we were happy to serve Calvary Coastline in this way.
There were lots of bins to be organized and labeled.
Everything got its own place, for easy access each week.
After an hour and a half of cleaning up, we were rewarded with Panda Express for lunch. YUM! Special shout out to Randolph and Christina Ochoa for hosting the event and for Noella and Queena from The Bridge for organizing and running the event.
We are so blessed by the opportunities to serve God, be with one another, have a good time and bless others!
