“Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you! Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days."
James 5:1-3 NKJV
Having wealth isn't a problem, that is, until wealth has you. Do you constantly feel the need to have the latest and greatest thing? Worse yet, are your means to acquire such things done in a way that's dishonest? Luxury isn't necessarily bad, but it can certainly distract you from things that matter. It's important to remember that God isn't so interested in our comfort, more than He is in building our character! Join us tonight, at 7:30PM in the Multi-Purpose Room, as we continue our series in the book of James called, "Grown Up." We'll be looking in the Bible at how we can grow to be mature believers in the faith.
